I have had my 510 for a couple months. I love it for the most part... I have a few issues that I am hoping are resolved.

The new TND is nice but would really like to see full functionality. (I know it's still in the works).

Whenever I am running anything over 20,000lbs (weather it be to or from the Jubitz in Portland OR, or Martin Luther King) I get an error saying that I am not legal on that route even though there is no posting stating otherwise. This happens every single time I run on MLK, and it is used quite often as my yard is also off of MLK and Columbia. (My routing gets nuked).

I am having issues of incorrect routing. For example, on the way to Billings Montana from Lolo Montana my route was US12E to I90E. The device kept taking me way out of route until I got into Rocker(Butte Montana) and it finally stopped re-routing me.

I have issues when running high cube trailers (14') when I am traveling Northbound on I5, and coming up to WA512. There is enough clearance for a high cube trailer to fit under the bridge and the 14' clearance is actually on the corner of the bridge when you are trying to go onto WA512. (My routing then gets nuked).

Lastly, I am having issues when I am in Pacific and bob-tailing to Fife where it is trying to take me on a route that is not a truck route.

I think that is all the issues I cam come up with for now.

    Thanks!

    Everett Thanks this.

Unplug for 12 hours, then charge on AC for 3, turn on and once on press the reset. This should cure it.

    Thanks,
    Mark

These are support Threads and are in no way conclusive of the overall product.

As with any support thread for any product you will have posts that deal with support issues. I am here to work through those support issues.

Users will only post the negative of any product, the TND included. This is human nature. If you notice that about 30%-40% of the posts that are posted and I do respond to, the poster never comes back. Why? If they are having a support issue why not come back to view the help posts?

You can see I am very "up" on responding to any post at any time.

Do not let the support posts sway you thoughts, but you now know you do have a support thread on TTR to go to at any time or date.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Pressing the reset pin hole on the sides of the unit, did turn it self on.

    Thank for your help.:biggrin_255:

    Hi Mark,
I have a TND510 and was wondering if their is any way to correct the maximum speed recorded. I can reset it driving down the road with the cruise set at 60 and it will record some higher variable. It has recorded as high as 117 mph. And I have never driven that fast. Is there some calibration needed? Other than that I love my device. I'm working with my 2nd as my first one was stolen... But they both had the same malfunction recording maximum speed higher than the vehicle was traveling.

    Any suggestions?

    Dave B.

Are you talking on the DashBoard Screen? I will have to test to see if we can duplicate here.

    Thanks,
    Mark
