Power it off for 12 hours, no AC nor DC. Then charge it on AC for 3 hours, power on and once on, press the reset.
If that does not work, then contact Rand Support for an RMA.
Thanks,
Mark

When I went from 820 Keystone BLVD Pottsville, PA to 7132 Ruppsville Rd Allentown, PA the GPS routes me to an 11' 8" bridge. After I detoured around the bridge it keeps wanting me to do a u-turn and go back under the bridge! It then erased the route and I had to restart it so it would show the route again. The bridge is north of the corner of Maple St. and Wilder St. Cressona, PA on PA-183.

I have a question for Mark I have the 710 and it quit working yesterday it will not turn on i was having trouble with the powercord kept losing the connection and it would flicker at the truck stop it turned itself off i guess from lack of battery power and i have not been able to get it to turn back on last night i put a piece of tape on the cord to hold it down to the dash and the little red light lit up and after a few hours it did turn green but the unit still would not turn on and even then if you unplug the power cord and plug it back in it turns red and after a while it will turn green. I brought the unit home with me and plug it into the computer and the light turned red but when i tyred to restore the unit or update it it says that i have to plug the unit into the computer which it already is im not very techno savey as you can tell from this message but any help or ideas would be a great help im thinking im probably going to have to send the unit in for repairs

Thank You Mark the unit powered up and seems fine thanks again for the help. I will call Rand Support about the cord. I have to say when I was looking at GPS units one of the best things I liked about the 710 was the fact that you were on here helping us drivers with our issues. I hope for mine and everyone else's sake that you continue to help.

i agree packerfan . I recently had a tnd700 bite the dust however Mark did everything he could to help me. i just purchased another gps it was a tnd510. I will tell you if it wasnt for Mark i would have looked elsewhere.
-
Mark i do have a question my tnd510 always shows up to date on the new dock. Now i know my tnd700 needed updating constantly. What gives do they have a known issue with this thanks
-
Remember, the first thing it will do is check the files on your C:\ with the server. Then it will check the files between the C:\ and the TND.
The first time you update on the Latest Dock it will require an TND be attached and it will do a backup of the TND.
Thanks,
Mark
