OK, What's going on with Rand & their Intelidoc software? My puter took a dump last week and I had to reinstall everything. Couldn't find the TND Dock software for my 700c unit so I went to Rand's website & downloaded what they claimed to be the same Dock software as before. Instead, I get this piece of crap that doesn't do squat other than look pretty on my laptop. It doesn't update crap, nor does it let me update my contstruction information.

What's going on here? I've had this for a little over a year & all I've had is truble out of it. Keeps up & I'll dump rand all together & jump over to Cobra. Maybe I'll have better luck and better equipment.

As mentioned before they are in the process of switching from the other Dock to the New Dock. True, not all functions are enabled yet, but they will be soon.

    Thanks,
    Mark

What is going on with this crap!

I updated to the new dock and now my 700 says missing files. I tried to restart it but now its just a black screen the power indicator on the side stay blue but it isn't doing anything. Do I need another scan disc for this update to hold. Like the last dock update?

Did you do a graceful disconnect of the TND? Either dismount it or turn it off before you unplugged it?

Look at the TND as an external drive and tell me what you see on the root directory of the TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Always powered off with the button. It won't even connect to the computer. So I can't even look into the files.

Leave it unplugged for 12 hours, then plug into AC for 3 hours. See if it will power up then.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If anyone has submitted for Life Time Maps and it has been more than 4 weeks, E-Mail me with your Name and serial number of your TND.

Subject line of E-Mail - LTM

4-6 weeks is average to be receiving a letter back.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I will be at MATS on Thursday and Friday morning only. Wednesday will be a day of travel.

    Booths - 68144 & 67129.

I will available for both booths. Customer Support will be manning the Help Desk this year.

If I am not at the booths, then I will be with my wife and our daughter taking in her 1st truck show.

    Thanks,
    Mark
