So, you submitted a Tell Rand? If so, you remember what date?

I get a copy of the Tell Rand's, but I do not answer them. I look at the issues drivers post.

    thanks,
    Mark

Last one was on Sunday, last week. First one was when the new software came out a month or so ago.

April 1st? What model did you connect? Did you leave a name/E-Mail?

I see several posted on the 1st, but unsure which one is yours.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Had my first problem with the TND 510. Simply, the GPS stopped. The little truck froze, the odometer showed 0, the map would not update as you went, and at the bottom of the screen was "No GPS" in a circle with a diagonal line.

I shut it off, restarted, reset, left it alone for awhile. Then I tried it again. same thing. At one point it seemed like it was going to work, but the screen kept rotating, and again the information was not correct. So I just shut it off.

Now when I got back to the yard this evening, I took the unit out of my truck, put it in my pickup, turned it on, and it worked fine. Is this thing getting ready to kick-the-bucket on me?

If it shows "No GPS" then it is telling you that you do not have a clear line of sight to the sky. Something in your truck may be stopping the signal. Metal overhead, FM transmitters (to connect to your truck radio), etc.

If it shows working in your pickup then something in your Truck Cab is causing the issue.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Is the 500/700 updates working yet? Not being a ####### I just left it in the truck and it works now I'll go get it, if not I won't worry about it. :biggrin_25523:
