Yes. Still won't power on or connect to the dock software on my laptop.

I kinda agree with you. I've had the 510 for a year and not once have I seen a map update. It's outdated like crazy. I spent 350 on this and it was outdated out of the box.

I've attempted contacting the customer service but can't get any answers.

I like this as a tool but I really feel like Rand McNally just laughed at me after they got my money. I'm really getting frustrated about the entire deal. Like I should have bought a different brand just because the customer service and support has got to be better than what I've seen here.

Rand is working on the next map update. But, E-Mail me and let's talk on the sideline about a restrictive NDA.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Ouch. I would contact Rand Support for an RMA. Be sure to have your receipt handy.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have a problem with my 700 and that is that the position shown is within 500 feet off my real position that causes me at least on one route to not be getting out on the right exit because within 500 feet there is a low bridge, i have to turn left and the bridge is if i turn right so the GPS gives me warning of low bridge and won't route me.

Ohio, I-77 exit 93.At the exit I had to take right while going sout on I-77 and immediate left on rt-212 if turning right on 212 north there is a bridge right there but the GPS won't even tell me to get off exit 93 it would take me to the next exit down exit 87 and try to take me to a really bad unpaved road and take a 17 miles detour even if the setting for unpaved roads is off. Some freezing started today also when I amd parked and input the infor for the route I need to go next.

Rand is looking to see if any restrictions for that ramp/area are in place.

Update - in testing with the next set of maps to be released it takes the correct exit and does avoid the low bridge.

    Thanks,
    Mark

So I have the TND 510 but am having trouble updating the program since I bought a new laptop, I can't seem to figure a way to get it to update anymore?

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks.

I don't think it's your laptop TND dock doesn't work on my 700 either.Doesn't even show the update option and it's freezing up.Mark said that an update should be available by next week probably.
