the prob with that part if I-410 is for some reason it thinks about 3 miles of it is not has-mat....? but it is and has always been the has-mat route from I-35 south to I-10 east... and I-410 (east or west) has always been the the has-mat route around san antonio....

and why does it not route me from the east side of I-35 at ex 13 (laredo, tx.) under the freeway to the southbound ONRAMP to go south....? but wants me to go north for 5 miles to turn around and go south

 

Ok I did not read 345 pages but does anybody know what I need to do to expand the zip code search, they only let you put certain numbers in ?????? Also can i search by city or does it have to be zip code

 

Does anyone use the 7" sun shade and do you like it?

Also, with the TND 710, do you dim it or otherwise shut it off when going through weigh stations? I was wondering if the weighmaster might think it's some kind of small tv or something to bust me on.

 

Well to update again. This GPS lasted until the battery died, power cord still flashing, will not charge while the GPS is on, will not fully recharge the battery.

Called RM Supervisor Dave and he said it sounds like the power board is bad, well no SH&%. This is what they told me the first time the unit quit working and this why I was so pissed about not getting this unit back for a third time. So it is off to the factory again.

Also why cant RM use a box that fits in a UPS drop box? I have to drive 30 miles round trip to take it to a UPS store. Customer Support rating still ZERO!

 

Does anyone else have a problem with the way the current speed is shown. A round black ball with white letters and when you go over the set speed limit a small red line appears in a black background, very very hard to see, I would be much happier if it were a white ball with black letters and the whole ball turns bright red when u go over the set speed, if it wasn't for the audio prompt I would never know I was speeding and at some speed limits the audio prompts don't even come on so you don't have a clue that u'r speeding at all. The previous setup before the software update was much easier to see.
