    The 510's all have the same maps, but if you put the same info in an older 500 series then you might see a difference as the maps are different. Restrictions may have been added in the newer maps on the 510. Send me the start/end locations and let me check.

    Also let me know your settings, truck tools/truck info and preferences/routing.

    thanks for the reply but I found the problem..... operator error. The gps was right there was no legal route(unless it was by boat) to where he was trying to go.

    If I setup the docking software on my Mac (for my 720), can I later also update it from a PC that I use if that has the dock too? Thanks

    I am going to mount my 720 lower on my dash so it is not as visible from the outside. Am I restricted to using a certain type of external antenna? I am thinking of getting this one: Gilsson Amplified External MMCX GPS Antenna. Do you think it will cause any problems or do you recommend another one? The antenna connection on the 720 is MMCX, not MCX correct? Thanks
