Mark, I went through the "ALIGN SCREEN" process several times but I'm still having problems. What am I doing wrong? I tried to take a video to demonstrate what I am experiencing. I apologize about the bad quality - I didn't have my camera with me so I had to use 'photo booth' on my computer:

    * I'm inside with the unit plugged in and hooked up to an external GPS (TND shows using 9/10 satellites).

    Hey there again!

My co-driver/fiancé wanted me to ask about the "Am I Close?" feature of the TND710. She wants to know how precisely that works, and how it is enabled. Again, we have it set to auto-scale mode and it does not seem to appear (nor does it seem to be needed in that scale mode, in my own opinion; she just would like the "best of both worlds" and I am fine without it).

    Once again, my thanks!

One thing that I have noticed, is that the TND 510 does not have all of the low clearances that the Rand Mcnally atlas does.
Mine tried to get me in deep trouble last week in TN.

    Did you do these steps?

    1. Turn TND off.
    2. Plug into AC.
    3. Insert SD Card.
    4. Turn TND on.

If so connect to the computer and see if you can see the TND as an external drive, then with the SD Card also inserted see if you see the SD card as an external drive.

    Thanks,
    Mark

One other note I found out yesterday... It refreshes more when you are zoomed in, smaller data packages. If you are zoomed out the refresh will be not as often but the data package will be bigger.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Unfortunately, Rand cannot control truck stops and when they receive them and display them. DAS has purchased them and DAS is the supplier to the truck stops. Rand would love them to be in the stores.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Try tapping with your fingernail. BTW - loaded/unloaded are not tappable.

If tapping with your fingernail is not changing the buttons then E-Mail me please.

    Thanks,
    Mark

When you are 1/2 mile away the top bar on the map (in a route) will show the address, while the bottom bar will count down/up the house/business numbers.

If you are in auto-zoom then the TND should be zoomed in.

Try taking it out of auto-zoom and see if that works. If it does then I have to verify this feature is set up in the auto-zoom fuction.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Two entirely different databases. Where were you when you found this issue?

    Thanks,
    Mark
