Try not to use caps in the entire post. It means you are yelling at me. You should have a setting under preferences/general under routing for freeways to change to prefer.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Well, if you do not want small roads. Do not use shortest route.
And in some cases it will be faster to use non-interstates. But other times not. You have to use the GPS as a tool. It is to help you route, not to route you. If you plan to use a GPS as an end all to get where you are going, then you really really do not need a GPS. And you should not be using one. People that do not use them properly are running into bridges, driving into lakes, etc.
Always verify your route. Never trust a GPS to do this for you.
The Rand has most of the low clearances and weight limited roads, on main routes. When you get into small towns and some city's, it will not have all the info. Because the towns do not always send the info to the states in a timely manner. So Rand cannot always have all the info.
And even when it is sent in, it could take them a year to get it changed in the system.

New drivers I think really should not have GPS's. Learn to use a map first. Then get the GPS to help with planning.

Wi-Fi is currently for weather only, no updates. To update you need to be connected to a computer.

As stated - truck stops are not controlled by Rand. Truck stops are supplied by DAS and they should be getting to the stores soon.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Want to talk about an old version lol. I am on a 500b. Have not updated in a good year. Since we got all the bugs worked out. Looking at the new 720. Just not too sure with the size. I prefer a 5" to a 7. They are just so freaking large. Like the camera idea. but that does not look like a camera that I can leave on the mirror in all weather. I would be concerned with it breaking over time.
