Not sure if this has been asked before, but when the GPS gives me an estimated time of arrival, is that based of my current speed or off of the posted speed limits?

Have a 710 that I bought about a month ago. Went to turn it on one morning and nothing. I tried taking it home and plugging it into AC for hours and still nothing. Any other suggestions? Or time to contact Rand?

99% of the time it will now turn back on and be fine.
This happens when the USB plug starts to get loose in the socket. If you have been watching this thread, then you will see references to "gently" squeezing the male side of the power plug. JUST A LITTLE. Then wrap the cord once around the neck of the mount so that it isn't always pulling downward on the socket in a shaking truck. (see pics attached)
DISCLAIMER: This post is not endorsed by Rand McNally (unless Mark wants to, lol) This is just a visual representation of something that has been written in this thread on several occasions and is a way to save a time-consuming warranty process in most cases if you experience a problem where it "won't turn on" any longer.
SECOND DISCLAIMER: I am also not defending Rand or your need to do this. It does not need to be done as a matter of "standard procedure" and should NOT be. But it is a way to fix one when you are on the road and in a bind. And the "one or two wraps" around the mount neck is a way to usually prevent it in the first place.
