Any chance I can get a list of traffic icons from you Mark?

I'll have to see if they have. Most of them are easy to figure out.

    Thanks,

They are. I wanted to see if what I have seen so far is the whole batch or if there are a few which havn't popped up yet.

Kudus to the engineers Mark. Great job imho for the way they implemented the traffic features- very straight forward and easy to use.

OK, cool. Wow, 4-5: I would love to see a pic of that, lol. I think I was kind of overly paranoid because of that restriction about not having any stickers or obstructions on the windshield except for a small area in the corner. But like you were saying, further back on the dash (towards the driver) doesn't really cause an obstruction. So I will probably only disconnect the MMCX fitting if I'm out of the truck for more than 24 hours.

In California especially, depends on the cop.

Cannot post the pic as it was when I was Beta Tester for another Navigation company... And I did get pulled in for an inspection in CA... Nothing was mentioned, but we had a nice chat about the fault line and were I was stationed over the mountain in 29 Palms... Lovely place..

    Thanks,

Not at this time.... I am still convincing my boss that it would be nice to allow the driver to input his speed and then use that for ETA's...

    Thanks,

Would that actually work? A speedometer may read 65 but that isn't what the truck is averaging. Too many factors. I think if RM did that, the driver would be constantly playing catch up to his ETA. That would frustrate the hell out of someone like me. Maybe something where over a period of time device comes up with a rolling average and bases any eta on that.......

ETA is based currently on what the posted speeds are versus time and distance. If a driver inputted his speed then the ETA would be more in tune to what he expects in the beginning of the route... But, as you roll it knows between Lat/Long points how fast you are going and the distance and would adjust accordantly.

    Thanks,
    Mark
