Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

I replaced my 710 for d 720 But Im not sure Im likin it better, It is never able to connect to d internet to give me weather info...... And The route Im running comes in all angles in d screen unlike the 710 which was always from top to bottom, also no matter how much I go into settings I cant get it to show me clearly all d streets along d freeway clearly like the 710 used to....Its quiker to process reroutings, But thatsvabout it.... I hope its tougher built by because I dont wee any improvements....

 

I got to handed down to McNally about the only 2 things that have made me not buy d compepetitors 7 inch its ure customer feedback and you guys Mark Beta testers I dont think any company can give u this much...

 

For the lifetime maps promo being they only ask for name, serial number and email. am assuming from this we will see it show up at some point when we dock?

How do you tell if the unit is completely updated, the reason I ask is that the first unit I got did a lot of updating when first connected to the dock,the replacement unit says that it's up to date,just want to make sure everything is ok with this new one. Software Version 12.4.2364.1912

OK Thanks,just seemed strange that the first one I got just over 2wks ago updated for almost 20min and this one says it's up to date right out of the box.
