I haven't seen the ad you are referring to.

But here is the "Forecasted Precip" overlay I recorded for you about 5 minutes ago...

I made a big arse of myself. I was so sure forecasted was wrong I skipped looking it up. I did know that forecast was right and I was right. So I was 1/2 right and 1/2 wrong?

Times like this I wish I had a different avatar!

 

Don't think you're getting the point of my post. I wasn't interested to know if you had a grasp of the english language as I think most people would know that "forecast" is a legitimate word but the fact that you called other people stupid and illitirate without having any proof of this.
As for your avitar, just by looking at it I could make a number of comments and some would probably be derogatory but I won't as I have never met you and so should not judge you. As of this time though,your avitar should be wearing a tall pointy dunce cap and you need to go stand in the corner for the rest of the day. LOL
Point beingo not judge others untill you have all the facts, esp: in forums where others will get the wrong impression.

I corrected my son recently when he asked what all the "kerfuffle" was in the living room (cats were beating each other up.) I broke his chops over the word "kerfuffle" not being real. Then he made me look it up. Apparently the $10 bet I put on it must have made him happier than winning because it got converted into a can of Red Bull and a bag of Doritos at the corner mini-mart in about 3 minutes flat. But I still think it's a goofy word.

Mark - however, now that everybody's chops are properly busted for our ever-expanding grip of English, we could probably return your thread to you...

 

Just a heads up, but now the power button is no longer functional on the 720 I bought. Did resets and diagnostics on unit. Going to exchange for another unit.

 

Any chance RM might go with a different provider for the weather overlays.... getting inconsistency and delay in the current precip overlay. Or, can RM get faster updates out of MyWeather- like true animation for instance.
