    Hey Mark, Quick concern...

I got a TND 500 a couple years ago, and it updated fine or seemed to be fine just today. After turning the unit on, I get a "No GPS" error upon clicking Map, and I'm unable to enter any addresses, as it just searches and searches. Also, it no longer has any points of interests or anything. It seems to be that some base files have been removed somehow. Is there a way that I can get back those base files for this system from you guys? Reset button does nothing. Thanks!

I-40 in OKC was just redone, I think any GPS will have a problem there right now.

It happened to me when I updated my 700 but go to tools and diagnose, repair what has to be repaired and after that u'll have a couple more updates on maps and on the unit, finish them go to diagnose again repair and check for updates until there are no more, make sure you are using the right cable for updates otherwise it won't be recognized by the computer.

I have a TND710 with lots of stored addresses.

If I "upgrade" to a TND 720, will I be able to transfer those addresses from the 710 to the 720?

Is there a way to export the Address Book data to a standard format file?

    Mark,

When Navigating a route. Checking for POI along the route. How far to the sides of the route will it include poi? Yesterday, did that and it missed the Flying J in Jerome/Twinfalls which is north of I84. Found it when using [my truck] to search for near by POI.

Also, not pushing but just asking....any idea on when a fix for the traffic hardware issue? Have even tried pinching the ends.

710 - I suggest you take the USB end of the DC cord and lightly squeeze the plug to provide a more snug fit.

For the 760 you will have to contact Rand Support and ask for the Product manager. I do not test the 760 and have no idea of it fuctionality.

    Thanks,
    Mark
