If you have your TND, I can look at it if you are having issues.

After the 1573 update, it won't complete the calculation of the route without using the "turn by turn" function key. If I leave it on the main map screen, it'll take very long time (it could take couple hours and the GPS still said "Route Details Still Being Determined").

    Mark Kling Thanks this.

I hold a current CDL class A. But, I am not currently driving. I do work out of my home in an "office". I go to the truck shows to help Rand out in updating, helping out with the displays, questions, fixing TND's with issues, etc, etc.

If you saw me at MATS this past March you would know what I talking about. :biggrin_25524:

I just got back today, I will be taking a day off tomorrow, Jul 11, as it is my wife's BD. I do value my health here...LOL

    Thanks,
    Mark

Hello. Has RM EVER been to IOWA??? I do not think they have and they NEED TO!! I live in Iowa and am driving through the Midwest and have found many errors in my 700. It took me to a 13ft bridge and a 13' 10 bridge. Huh? Also I tried it in the car this weekend just to see what would happen going to the in-laws. Well we took our normal way which was not the 700's way and when it changed routes it wanted me to turn around on two different gravel roads. Why gravel roads for a Semi? Just wondering. Also seems to me that many of the speed zones are not in there either. The "BIG LOUD" speaker is not very good either and I am VERY disapointed in it along with how the "lady" says many town and street names.
Well thanks. I hope the 700 doesn't foul out on me as I do kinda like it, but am not fully impressed with it yet. Time will tell.
    Thanks

I'm wondering... why by all saints it displays names of ALL golf courses and country clubs? Even when zoomed out.
How often we go pick up or deliver to a country club??? lol It would be really funny if it wasn't so ridiculous.
I was driving in Fl and there was full screen of that BS.

I've got turned on just "truckers" POI.

I can understand the issue with the 13' bridge, but the 13'10" bridge is 4" above the height of a 13'6" truck. Unless you have a 14' trailer.

As a prior truck driver, I traveled on many a dirt and gravel road to get to shippers and consignee's If the gravel road is in the state road system then the TND see's it as a viable road if it meets truck criteria.

In how the voice speaks, it does stumble over a few names, but the TND does not hold a true voice system. It is files set up to try to pronounce the street names Phonically.

I have posted in past few pages that if you come accross incorrect data such as weight, height, etc, etc. Then let RM know or post it here.

The posted speeds are in the mapping database and if they are missing, again let us know.

Try to give a much information as possible. Such as saying it missed a 13' bridge in Iowa. We need this narrowed down.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Certain POI's are hardcoded into the maps.

    Thanks,
