Well my 510 started acting goofy today. The weigh station ahead warning pops up, however there's no weigh station in the area. Might be a rest area, or a toll booth. There was one such warning that had "Rest Rooms" across the bottom. I finally had shut the warning off, by changing the miles to 0.
Any idea what's going on with it?

If you keep toggling past "0" it should say "Off".
If the warning showed at the bottom then it might be a custom POI. Preferences/My Custom POIS/Manage Custom POIS - Clicking on the Custom POI you can change the settings. Rand does not control Custom POI's. If you get them from POI Factory then they would be the ones to contact.
Be aware some of the Custom POI's from the POI Factory are set by Lat/Long and they may pop up if you are going under an overpass and the warning is on the overpass or if the warning is close to where you are at but on a side road.
But, if you got the big POP up then get me the information as it may be incorrect.
thanks,

What do you mean by the big POP? The pop-up I'm getting is the same size, and appears to be the normal weigh station pop. It even used my setting of 2 miles. What really drew my attention to it was the "Rest Rooms" on it. I've never seen that on the weigh station pop-up before. I wished I'd had my screenshot turned on. -
If you see the "Dirt Road" let me know the start/stop and I will have them check the mapset. Some paved roads are still showing as "Dirt Roads" in the mapset.
Let me know the model you have and where you saw this Pop up. I need to try to duplicate.
Thanks,

This is a quick example, as it's all the time along this route, others are somewhat sporadic.
Kansas, Lyon County, Road 175, from Coffey/Lyon County line west to Emporia. It of course wants to route me down those county gravel roads. Other times it would pop up just after starting a trip at a shipper/quarry.
The weigh station-restroom first popped up 2 miles west of the Ottawa Rest Area, I-35, about mm 174. -
Google maps brings back a few with this rest area.

Also just noticed that when I run the diagnose & repair, it shows issues with 3 files. I run the repair, which it says it has successfully repaired. Then out of curiosity, after about 30 mins, I plugged the unit back in, and ran the diagnose & repair again. Well, it shows issues with 3 files. I'm only to catch 2 of the 3 it reportedly repairs, ZipCodes.db & UserGPS.ini. I don't know what the 3rd file is, as it goes to fast for even my screen capture program (Camtasia Studio) to catch. But it repeatedly thinks those files need repaired.
I'm fairly advanced on understanding computers. I've looked around the unit while plugged into my PC. What I've not been able to find, on my PC, is where the back-up is stored. I would like to locate this, copy it to another location. Then if possible do a hard type restore. Meaning take the unit back to an original purchased state, then restore my addresses and such. Is this possible? If so how would I accomplish this? -
The latest version is 1.0.4721.16210.
