    48 and 96" or 102"?

    102" would still be STAA.

    thanks,
    Mark

Sounds like a bad download. I ran a T5C with the same data and just updated off the Dock. I see Rest Area's and Weigh stations both sides.

If you are computer savvy I can tell you what files on your C:\ to delete to get a fresh download.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The power cord on my 720 stopped working (no green light on the cigarette lighter part but the fuse looks ok - also checked the outlet and it's good). I'm in the middle of LA and temporarily plugged the 720 into a USB power outlet. Can I use it indefinitely like that? Thanks

Typically not indefinitely unless the USB power outlet puts out 2 amps. Check the specs on yours to be sure. The TND 720 will drain 1 - 2 amps from its internal battery while in use (depending on what it is doing.) But many USB chargers are .5 amps or 1 amp. Those will "prolong" the battery from going dead because they are giving it some power, but not enough to keep it lit forever while in full driving mode.. Also, even a .5 amp will fully charge it if you turn it off overnight, etc. But in a pinch it will do some good!

Hey, Mark. I think i'm within 24 hours of purchasing a 720. However, i do have another "functional" type question. As i travel to the differant customers accross the country, i would like to build a database of addresses, directions, names, phone #s, special delivery notes, etc. I think the safest way to archive this data would be by using hard copies and files of this data. Or, is there a means to store this data via the 720 for individual customers, and export/back-up that data to a safe storage device for future use? Thanks.

You do have an address book that can be subdivided by Groups.
    Memo feature for those notes.

The Dock should back it up, but you can always manually grab the files.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Hi, my wife picked up a used tnd 700 for me as my other one was stolen. I am having a issue with the map database being expired. I called support and they told me there was nothing they could do and I need to have a purchase receipt or I need to buy a new unit. I am wondering if there is any way to fix this or do I just have a paperweight sitting here?
