I totally agree. What RM used to do they do no more. Still waiting for a resolution for another problem posted he was going to work on. Now I understand he is at MATS this week, but the attitude I got from RM tech support was unacceptable and not the RM that I used to deal with. Not sure I want to purchase another RM with their new attitude. I will wait and see.

Bad news. Problems and glitches exist with all the GPS devices no matter the manufacturer. At least here, on this thread, Mark does his best to rectify and fix issues what ever they are. Since he is a RM employee, to say RM doesn't care is a little misleading. Remember, there is no such thing as the perfect device and the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence.

    Hey Mark...
    Its been a while.
RM has taken care of everything just like you said they would.
My address book and mileage transferred from the 500 to the 510 without a hitch.
Thanks again for everything you did in helping me resolve my issue.
Everything is good to go and I couldnt be happier with RM's customer service.
    Just one suggestion...
Maybe RM should issue a back up map book for those who are dumb enough to rely on any gps as their sole means of navigation.
Even with all of the latest and greatest gadgets and gizmos crammed into the ####pit of a super truck, you still cant fix stupid :biggrin_25510:

Good choice as he didn't say his only map was was his gps. Read the post carefully before you criticize.

My comments were directed at this part of the post and were regarding the MCRA. If misconstrued, my apologies to those of tender regard. I withdrew the remark for external reasons.... mostly trying to write while watching someone back into my hood.

OK, since the dock software won't start on my system, does anyone know which files on the 710 contain the mileage data? I'll need to copy them off and convert them to csv.
