    I mailed off for the lifetime updates and never heard back, so i called them, the tech guy said if i didnt hear back from him he had gotten it all set up and it would update when i docked it at home...how do i know if its updated or if the updates available? and that POI community rating thing is driving me nuts lol

    Thanks, looking forward to it coming back, my old TND went kaput i cant even get it to turn on due to a bad battery or something im not sure.... unfortunately RM wasn't to helpful in getting it fixed..

    when you dock, it will show you if the map is current or needs to be updated.

    I sent mine in for an RMA and it came back as a bad screen.

    Interesting.... if a 720, then if you registered then you will be set up automatically for LTM's. They really did not have to do anything. It will say LTM = Yes on the Dock.
