Go to Control Panel  Programs  Programs and Features
Click "Turn Windows features on or off" the feature
Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1 should be turned ON. The sub features may be turned OFF.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Feature was 'on'. Re-installed .net 3.51 and sp1, removed and installed RM Dock. Still having the same issue.

As for the truck.db data - what are the distance units? Feet? Meters? I'm assuming that the date data is standard raw format.

The install might be hung up. If you are computer savvy, then I have a few suggestions to try.

Also make sure any anti-virus program "allows" the Dock as a safe program.

I am not sure, I have to ask.

If you want me to remote in, then I use Teamviewer. I am available now if you need.

    Thanks,
    mark

Hey Mark, any chance that there will be a 'second step' added in the future? What I mean is basically the turn following your next turn and how far it is away. I've missed some turns in the past because the next maneuver was literally right after the previous turn and I was out of position lane-wise.

I hear the voice say that sort of thing... "turn right on %%%% and then turn left.." and seems I've seen a visual too... TND510

So for traffic ill have to turn my phones hotspot on? Or does the 720 have an internet reciever in it thst is not active at this time (other than its wifi reviever)

How much data usage is estimated per hour?

If this is the case its not much of a solution since most people have limited bandwidth on cell service. Also when I turn hotspot on my phone eats the battery so it would need to stsy plugged in. Not an option. Reduces battety lide and maked the phine run hot. Guess no traffic for me. Well I have the inline reviever. Ill have to rember to unplug and replug the powrer every half hour.

on map screen you should see an arrow for the next turn in the upper left and right below that is the 2nd turn arrow if needed.

BTW... tapping on the arrows will repeat the spoken direction.

    Thanks,
    mark

I had the 710 before and I believe you're right, it did do that, can't find it on the 720.

It doesn't have the next turn (second) on mine. I'll go through the options and see what's what.

    Phone Hotspot on - Yes.

Data useage I think was about 600mb a month running all the time. 11hrs/day, 7 days. This may vary with your usage, so don't hold me to the numbers.

Phone plugged in - yes. Usually a Droid (charge) will run about 3-4 hours and an I-Phone 5 will run a little longer without being plugged in. The Droid does show on the main screen the Hotspot icon and the IP 5 will show a blue line on top with the # of connections. Note - IP 5 leave on Hotspot screen for the TND to connect.

    Thanks,
    Mark
