How do you know for sure if you have lifetime maps. I sent in the form and got an email saying welcome to lifetime maps. Just wondering if there is anything on the Rand McNalley Dock that verifies this. Far as I know I've never gotten a map update.

I have no idea. I don't handle RMA's nor their process. You can ask them when you call.

    Thanks,
    Mark

If you got the E-Mail then you are registered. The Dock - button to the right of the update button will note you have a map update available. Currently the next set of maps is in QA and due to be released soon I hope.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Are the traffic receiver issues fixed for the TND 720? Or does it still go to sleep after a certain amount of time? Is it still limited to only providing traffic info for about 100 cities?

The traffic receiver for the 720 will have an issue of going to "sleep" if left in a searching mode. The only way to "wake" it up is to remove the power from the traffic receiver

I don't remember offhand the cities it did have. I know I am about 50 miles from Charlotte and I get Charlotte traffic.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Not sure of the exact address but do a google search for Navtech Traffic. There is a complete list of coverage.
