Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

My map version is 3120212 as well. It shows LMT = YES. But when I connect to the dock, it says device is up to date. I have the 520. Is everything kosher??

 

Mark, My unit is not able to hold a charge (again) I never get a green light anymore, and it seems as if the usb port may be loose because as the truck goes down the road the red light above the power button blinks and if you push in on the cord it will stop for a moment then back to blinking.

Do I need to replace the unit or can this be repaired?

Address Entry Method was changed.
now City, Number Street.
A lot of times, it didn't like my numbers.

 

I can't install the update it just says not enough space on your device!!!!

 

Well after a hour or so of messing around i got it fixed i had to run the diagnostic and repair which it found 145 problems fixed all those then it installed the rest of the update started it back up it worked for a few minutes then said that my license on the maps has run out so i'm running the diagnostic again going to bed hoping it's done when i get up tomorow and it's fixed!!!! What a pain in the but!!!!

 

Is anyone else really able to use the fuel prices on the 520? Even with good wifi it takes a long time to find any fuel prices and it will almost never find any on my route. The only time it really works is when I'm close to a truck stop it will show on the map screen, but at that point I can pretty much see the fuel prices on the signs.

Don't remember it being wrong before. Mayb the update screwed it up?

The Split was removed a few years ago..most of the State anyway.

 

Mark , I see people discussing map updates , but I have not seen any come available for my tnd 700 for a while,I have LTM for it , any info on them?

 

I am wondering the same myself. My map data version on my tnd 700 is 4110307 and on my tnd 720 is 3120212 obviously different. I also have LTM=yes on both.
