Shortest: 99s to 20e to 70s to 65s to 80w to i5s to 170s to 101 to 110 to 91 to exit 8 (479 miles)
Fastest: 99s to 20e to 70s to 99s to I5s to 170 to 101 to 110 to 91 to exit 8 (463 miles)
You got two different routes. Just because no signs are posted does not mean the road you are on is not restricted. Usually this is with "US" routes.

I am referencing what is in the 710 and 510 manuals on Page 124/125 area on how to delete Custom POI's.
There is NOTHING in the operators manual about what you just described above. Something that seems to seriously be lacking in the operators manual on more than just this topic.
A rather weak area for consumer support. -

I gave you a solution to delete a Custom POI.
What you are referring to is deleting "ALL" your custom POI's by modifying the .txt/.csv file and then moving that modified file back to the TND. Thus, you will have "no" custom POI's.
If you are computer savvy you can also open the custom POI and modify the record you wish to delete and then save the file in the correct format. Then push that file to the TND.
I am giving you a solution to delete one of the Custom POI's on the TND without affecting the original file that you have on your computer.
Thanks,

You do not have to follow the route it gives you. If you go your own route the TND will adjust.

You will not be able to move the maps over since the license file will not work.
The 710, simply on the USB end of the DC cord squeeze the connector slightly to provide a more snug fit. Freezing is a power issue. Make sure you charge it for about 3 hours first on the AC adapter

Lancaster CA to Jacksonville, FL (2424 miles via 14/138/215/10)
RM "shortest" route: 2588 miles!
fastest route: 2455 miles (same as ideal, except bypasses phoenix via 86/8 )
You can say that your algorithm is just a little different for your "fastest" routing -- I'd say it is acceptable but trailing the competiton. But you've clearly got a bug in your "shortest" algorithm, and rather than say "oh geeze, we better look at that" you say "feel free to ignore my ###### product." Nice...
