Howdy, my RM 510 is having problems.. did a D and R thru dock and an update a few weeks ago, started having problems a couple days after.. just found the time and internet access to finish another D and R (no update available) .. will see how it goes.. sometimes I really wish one could simply type in an address instead of going thru the normal entry process's ...

The problems have been with routing, not being able to find said location when it's found it before and power supply.. the original 12 volt power supply blew three fuses before i figured out what it was.. Picked up a kit just for Rand with a new 12 volt charge chord months back. the usb jack pops out of the the socket on bumps rollin down the road. the chord it self is pretty skimpy in my opinion.. who makes this stuff for Rand ?.. they ought go for quality not the cheap in bulk quantity stuff.. the docking chord plugged in to a usb socket works well so far. It would serve well if Rand made/supplied chords like that one.. Tho I can't say the same for the usb socket.. its wrapped with a zip tie to keep it together.. Is the 520 or 720 having the same issues ?..

Appreciate you Mark.. please don't take any this to heart or as a personal attack.. thx

For a prior post.. KY-1973, I-75 x 120, Does have a 22 ton weight restriction. RM has edited this to allow access to the travel plaza. This will be reflected in the next map update.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Try to get a RM DC cord. Call Rand Support with the issue.

What address are you trying to find?

520/720 USB ports on the unit are much tighter.

If you got this error you might have a corrupted file. Are you computer savvy? If so, I can direct you to what folder you need to delete on your C:\.

If the files on your C:\ are corrupted then if you do a D/R, they will move the corrupted files to your TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark

For the Petro and Blue Beacon in Atlanta.
(Petro) 3181 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW.

If I enter the Petro or Blue Beacon into the GPS it does tell me to take Exit 12. But then on the bottom it says Through Truck Routing is prohibited or not advised.

    Mark Kling,
    Just purchased a 720 Sept 4th.
On junction view all items in manual show up but item 4 (lane assist arrow and picture of interstate).
I've looked thru manual and preferences and can not find a fix.
I did not register an check for updates for thinking about exchanging for new unit.
    Serial # 720-047154-EL-13W03
    OS Version A5.RM.2T720.120626.0
Gps Start 05/02/2013 (what does this date stand for)
    Map Data Version 4110307

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bobby

Lane assist of the freeway is only on certain spilts. Not all are covered. You may not have entered an area where they are in the db.

GPS start, basically the day the GPS picked up satellites.

    Thanks,
    mark
