Why does it get behind me. Seems like it is about a quarter of a mile behind where I am actually at. Also if I select the unloaded feature it should go to my unloaded weight.

What model are you on? When was it last updated?

Agree, more information would really be helpfull... How do you know it is not picking your unloaded weight for routing?

    Thanks,

HELP... I have a TND 720 that is close to two years old now.... All of a sudden the screen has shifted so much most buttons are not usable.. even doing screen alignments doesn't help. If you try to enter a new location you have to shut unit off and then turn back on to be able to get back to map screens etc. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Did you connect to the TND Dock and under Tools, do a D/R on it?

    Thanks,

yes sir.... countless times..... when an alignment is done everything lines up but even to get out of the alignment screens, you must either use a pen and press reset or power off and on. The over all button shift is almost 1 full inch upwards.

In regards to the diagnostics and repair, from new it has always listed two files as being a probem, but then repairs and seems fine. It was only this last 8 day trip that the alignment kept shifting further and further till it got to the point it was impossible to work with

Don't worry about those two files. It does not affect anything.

If the screen keeps going off alignment, contact RM support tomorrow and let them know. Just tell them you align the screen and it keeps going off alignment. Sounds like a bad screen.

    Thanks,
    Mark

It is a 510 last updated 3 mos ago but still gets behind me. I know it isn't using my unloaded weight because it doesn't want me to go down the street I live in 57650 weight limit.

Well, seems Mr. Rand 720 likes to locate an address by entering the street number first much more then entering the street name, that is provided I have the street address. Mr. Rand also likes to throw in curve balls. I don't mind dirt roads at all but when they aren't there I think I should ask why? This warning appears all over the country, not often and it really doesn't matter. however.....
