Rand McNally has not found the per-axle data that is currently available and being used by others to be accurate and complete enough to use in routing, so we are now doing the research necessary to create this data ourselves, much the same as we have done with bridge heights and other truck attributes. Once the data quality for per-axle limits is up to our standards, it will be released to existing owners and included in future products.
However, we do use the # of axles in the GUI to avoid roads that prohibit trucks with a certain number of axles.

Here's a bit of fun: Try to get to northbound 75 from the Ocala, Florida Love's.
It can find southbound just fine, but it's determined to route me through a hundred miles of state routes if I head north from there until I actually turn onto the freeway.
