Did you mute the volume on the main screen or turn it all the way down?

All, when your upper right buttons on the T5B, T5C, or the T7C will not work or on the T5E or T7E the middle of the keyboard will not work, if you have updated to version 1760... this is how to align the screen.

Turn the TND off\on. On the accept screen, just above the word accept, look for the word "product". Tap on the "p". it will take you to the screen alignment screen.

It is best to use a semi-sharp object such as a pen, tip is retracted. follow in a counter clock wise sweep,,, (left to right for those clock challenged). if it shows a white arrow, do not drag the pen,,, touch and pick up and then move to the next point on the screen.

If you missed a point and did not get it correctly, you get to start again. Once you have hit all points correctly the screen alignment screen will go away.

T5B - you will have instructions on the screen if the alignment went okay.

    Thanks,
    Mark

everytime I power off my 700 the brightness resets all the way to the lowest setting.... Same also goes when the auto day/night feature switches from day to night and vice versa... Is this only an issue on my unit? its awful annoying, can't see how someone else wouldn't have brought this up yet.

Also, is there really a need to accept the user agreement everytime I power on the unit?

    Thanks

Unit would not work at all today.
Navi exe. was not working. It would put the terminate screen up as soon as it tried to boot.
Not in a good place either, I do not know this area at all and would have liked to have the backup of gps.
I tried resetting it 50 times or so. Nothing would work.
So now I am waiting to get unloaded and I am restoring it from my last backup.
Problem is that it is from before the latest upgrades, so may screw it up worse.
Though I guess not, since it is not working at all anyway.
Then I will have to update again, which I cannot do for a few weeks.
So if this does not work I may throw it out my window so the pos does not take up any more space in my truck.

    Legal agreement - yes

The GPS will remember the last setting and once it picks up the GPS signals will readjust itself. But, I will test it out on my end also. I have not seen it in my test unit.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The backup is from the last time you hit the update button. If you have E-Mail and can check a few things we should be able to get you up and running again.

    Thanks,
    Mark
