    im heading to the Atlanta terminal for or they are putting me on the surge account they said i would be helping out the family dollar and dollar general account till a spot opens up on one.. do the accounts have certain trucks they get the rec said he think i will either get a pete 387 or a freight shaker.. and he also said i was gar 950 a week is this true

    The 950 a week is technically true. Last I heard they got to the 950 figure based on a mileage formula, but they will up your gross up to 950 if you fall short, meaning you'll likely net between 550 and 750 depending on your deductions.

    They'll try to get you a shortnose because its pretty much impossible to get into a few family dollars with a longnose.

    You can make a lot more money just working DG and getting decent at it (1000-1500 easily, and 1800 a week if you're good). You'll be losing money every time you hook up to a FD trailer because they take all day to unload.
