I was quoting my average. And yes I run I-5 a lot where fuel is hovering around $4 per. So $3 per is easy to reach as an average.

Prime lease guys average $2.50 per mile? I always thought they were a flat rate company. Like $1.10 plus fsc. That's really good for them.
-
No they pay 75% of the contract rate for the load. No forced dispatch. Don’t like the rate you can pass on it.
-
What's the average rate?Cabinover101 Thanks this.
-
That isn't what you said in the post I quoted.
Here I'll quote it again.
-
Are you paying posted pump price?!
Edit to add about the fuel surcharge. My last real load was almost two months ago and the fsc on it was 38 cpm. Since then I was doing local drayage runs with a daily flat pay. And while there was a fsc on it, it's based on a minimum miles that I never ever came close to hitting so doesn't relate to this conversation. But it is kinda fun for ####s and giggles to say I got 25 bucks a mile and 3 dollars fsc.Last edited: Jan 1, 2020

Please start a thread when you go to Prime ..........
Asking for a friend.jsnell, Dave_in_AZ, Opus and 1 other person Thank this. -
What you quoted was me simplifying how fsc works and how I use it. It's my 3rd response to him and is all about fsc.
-
Yes I pay pretty close to it. I fuel exclusively at loves. I have a Loves Express card and they gave me $.10 a gallon off the pump price. It’s the best I could get. I checked with petro and pilot flying J and both of them wouldn’t give me anything.

If I go to Prime I will report every detail here.Cat sdp Thanks this.
