<< Not a dumb truck driver, but I have a really good friend who is a PI in AZ, does workers comp work - I can't imagine that he'd EVER post an insane question like that in a public forum - that'd be like asking someone to do his work for him.

Does PI stand for poor investigator, possibly inept, probably ignorant, or please ignore? :biggrin_2559:

I could tell him, but then I want 33.3% of the settlement too. :biggrin_2559: Something about PRIVATE investigator and PUBLIC forum don't mix.

    PI might mean Posting Incoherantly!:biggrin_2559:

Have you thought about calling the truck stop in question and asking the manager? Most truck stops will have atleast one camera on the diesel islands and one camera on the gas islands. Smokey Joes TS is a pervert. He has one in the 3rd bathroom stall in the womans bathroom. :)
    Logbooks are legal evidence.

As are affadavits... in conjunction with a logbook, it should be easy enough to execute an affadavit stating when and where the driver was, what happened, etc. Easy enough to discuss or defend in a deposition.

I think I found the problem; and in the spirit of "providing useful information instead of giving people a bad time", I give you this tidbit...

try speaking to the people at the truck stop instead. :biggrin_2559:

In fact, I would go so far as to say that if the truck stop does answer... go see your doctor. Quick! :biggrin_25526:

Truck stops. More than one, but which one, all of them? Which one is going to be the easiest to hit. Which one is going to be the best bet to hi-jack a truck or cargo from? Which one can we jack the truckers from and not get caught by the police?

If there were an injured person, they would know the truck stop where it happened. If there was an injured person, they would know the time it happened. Why is the exact time relevant? I would think the truck that hit them would be the most relevant question. Somebody gets injured at a truck stop, they are going to go to the hospital so they can cash in on there workman's comp, or the person who hit them. You get injured and run, you get nothing from anybody, maby disability from the state if its bad enough thats it. Why would an injured person run?

It is my belief that the OP is casing truck stops looking for the softest target. Most of my youth was spent on the wrong side of the law. OP is cookie cutter stupid criminal looking for easy lintel. If he were for real, he would know about surveillance, would take the time to case each place himself, get to know all the staffs schedules ets... They would not be so cheesy as to get bogus info from a trucker forum as to how to jack a truckers or a truck stop itself.
