Think a regular drivers liscense suspension in 97 and a few speeding tickets over 5 years ago is going to be a problem landing a job after I obtain my CDL?

Shouldn't be. I had a CDL suspension back in '03 right after they made all the states report back to the home state and I got hit with a 90 day CDL suspension due to 3 15+ speeding tickets. I had to quit at my company for 2 years due to their (North Western Insurance) policy and I wound up driving for a buddy till he went out of buisness and for bottom feeder Trans Am till my old company took me back!
The tickets are all over 3 years and most companies don't look at them to hard unless you have a leaving the scene or MAJOR infraction then it's a toss up. A DUI you might have to wait for 7-10 years before any "good" company will look at you. -
ok cool thanks for response.. just incase misunderstanding, this was on regular liscense.. still in process of getting CDL.. but either way thanks for response! i just hope "old" tickets/accidents wont be an issue
