Swapping a 13 speed manual to a X-Y shifted 13 speed?

Just teach her to drive it like a 9 speed.

I swapped 3 10 speed auto shifts to manual and it's fairly easy. Like you said, top plate, harness, shifter and ECU reprogramming. However going backwards I think will be a huge and expensive pain in the rear. You will have to find a vin number of a truck similar to yours, get all the parts based on that Vin, install everything and program. It's gonna take a lot of time and money

 

1st buy a older rear wheel drive car with a clutch and teach her how to drive it with/out using the clutch (speed shifting) till she stops and she will be ahead of the game and not grind the truck gears as many times as she learns to double clutch the truck and will be only using it only when she stops the truck, after she learns and you can sell the car after she gets shifting it with out touching the clutch pedal down to a art??
