Buddy I've argued with wore out before.... just drop it your wasting your breath. The reason a truck with 2.70s will pull worse is lower rpm I know for like a Cat 3406e or c15 1500rpm was the best pulling rpm because it still make peak torque and made lots of HP. So if you have 2.70 then a direct ratio what rpm will it turn at 68mph. It all depends on rpm not ratio if 1 truck runs 68mph at 1500 and another runs 1500 at 80mph there gonna pull the same but just a different speeds.
