in the long run I dont give a 2 sheets on what another driver does as long as it does not effect me, If I pull up to the pumps and sit waiting because someone is doing stuff that doesnt belong in the location then im sure as heck going to get out and make it known they are being a bass

Look, if you're on that tight of a schedule, then sweeping out your trailer at the fuel island is very inefficient. Why? Because you have to get your broom and pan, take time to open the door, sweep, dump, then close the door again.
Why not be on the dock with your broom (or use the receiver's broom - saves even more time) while unloading, then hit it hard just after the last pallet comes off? You'll probably be done before they get your paperwork finished. Same can be done just before loading. You've usually got plenty of time to get it swept out after you've backed to the door and before the loaders get your stuff together. And you don't waste time opening and closing a door when you otherwise wouldn't, nor do you risk some prankster locking you inside your own trailer while you're sweeping out the nose. Also works well to thwart those receivers that love to leave their dunnage and broken pallets in your trailer.technoroom and driverdriver Thank this. -
I suppose if you like getting laughed at you can open the barn doors and start sweeping the trailer out in the fuel aisle. I'd find a back row spot to back into if you know what I mean.

Just be like me and sweep only inside parked at the scales.

Lol. Make time and sweep at shipper and receiver locations. Some locations will not allow you sweep inside so just carry bags and sweep anywhere as long as your not blocking NO ONE.

Park by the scales, the dumpster... anywhere, and do what you should have done somewhere else. -
I really like my 18 volt leaf blower to get my reefer trailer
anywhere but at the fuel island -
I might have to get me a blower, got a ryobi cordless trimmer and the battery works on a few different ryobi products so might look into one eventually when i feel like dropping $100
