I just went through the swift academy and there was one guy they should have kicked out but did not, by the 3rd week he could not even straight back and on several occassions did things that were unsafe but beyond that i had good training, and was taught how to back

Funny. Just got a video from HQ telling us we are killing it at weigh stations and just got upgraded so expect to be detained even less by DOT.

I drove through Oregon on 84 Ontario to Klamuth Falls down 97.. Then I-5 south of Sacremento.. Monday through Thursday.. Inspection sweeps weeks or whatever just a few days ago. Didnt get called into to a single weigh station.. ALL bypass! And then I see this thread. Had to respond. Stop lying weirdo. Find something better to do.

I didn't get pulled in either. But I went up 395 over to 95 to Spokane. Then turned right back down.

Tomorrow will be the 6 month marker since my date of hire with Swift... seen more than a few truck wrecks in that time. Mostly other companies, but a handful of Swift. Thing is, Knight-Swift is too #### big. Accidents will happen, and they don't care about the company markings on your door. Unfortunately for Knight-Swift, the law of averages states that because their markings are on more trucks, they're more likely to be involved in said wrecks. Not excusing the drivers' stupidity, just saying that the company has little or nothing to do with it

There is no excuse for drivers' stupidity, and from what I have seen Swift does all it can to emphasize and insist on safety.

They have 1700 accidents over a 2 year period with 15,000 trucks on the road.
    Their CSA scores are solid.

I had no idea they were running so many trucks...no wonder they have some accidents with over 15k trucks. I consider a company with over 200 trucks a large company lol.

    No it really isn't.
    I know zero about Swift.
But when someone has thousands of trucks, odds are good they will also be in some accidents.
