Swift apparently didn't pay any of their drivers this Friday..

Unless this is an older message they just havent taken down and google is pushing up. Pretty much exactly what i said. Swifts bank is down and you will likely get paid once the tech guy catches all the hamsters.

And? Ive seen messages like that not get updated as a problem gets worse. If they are already having issues with phones and chats. Its not hard to belive other servers go offline as well.

That said if your bound and determined to panic, there really is very little i can do besides tell you to chill. Most of us long tine drivers have had a late check. It sucks not getting paid. It aint nice, and it can absolutely screw a driver. But its sadly life. Best advice i can give is just chill and wait to see what tomorrow brings. My guess is it will be sitting in your account when you wake up. If not monday afternoon when most banks open and can process all the backend stuff.

 

You make good points. One would think that Swift or any company would have the decency to put out a statement notifying employees and contractors, whoever may have been affected. That there was an outage or problem, they or the bank are working on it, and all payroll/payments should be out no later than Monday.

 

Since when do people listen to reason, or think reasonably for that matter?
They like to panic first, think the worst second, and hop on social media third.

Your not wrong sadly and sometimes i feel like i waste my time trying, but ill still try because im an idiot i guess. Grabted sure this COULD be the death kneel of swift. But there have been absolutely none of the traditional warning signs to this point. So id bet its one of those annoying things that happen sometimes. I mean hell one time as a teen, the walmart i worked for managed to #### up so badly everyone in the store didnt get paid for 2 weeks. Only reason they even had employees at the end of it was some of us couldnt find a new job fast enough.
