How does swift compare to other schools for those of us under 21 looking to get into trucking? I am 20 and will be 21 in 10 months. I figure in Texas there will be a lot of local driving? who knows maybe even California? are there any fellow youngins who have experiences with this? thanks guys

it looks like a pipe dream for another 2 years 10 months you would be better off trying to get on at a local beverage company pepsi coca-cola rc cola budweiser miller coors ect. many of the above named company will get you your cdl no cost to you except for the license fee and with no contract. the local bud distributor would hire a group the first day would be study the state cdl driver hand book the next day was driving practice on the lot and the theird day they took you down to the dmv to test you can get your cdl but you wount be able to be insured to drive OTR until your are 23 but you should be able to drive local at 21

Forget driving. It's dangerous, unhealthy, and you waste your life away. Stay in school and/or enroll in flight school and aim to be a pilot if you want a transportation career.
