Rumor has it most company drivers, (Swifties) and O/Op's from GW have backed out of the deal. Drops for company pay $10. It sounds like with the mileage pay they won't bring home $500 a week. Rumor has it Wallyworld wants GW out before Sept 6th when Swift takes over. There might have been a rift there.

Injun, sent you a PM with some questions you may or may not have answers to. Does anyone know what DC's in Florida Swift now has? Is it a daycab home nightly gig? Will the drivers report to the DC to pick up the truck and pull store loads? Any more info would be appreciated, I am interested in this if possible. Thanks
I called Ocala and Phoenix was not given a direct answer on what DC's they have, just that they have Walmart in FL and are looking for drivers. She may be on the other end of the country but she probably knows more being on the inside than I know being on the outside. And if she doesn't, then she doesn't, but I won't know until I ask.
The Grocery DC's in FL are Arcadia, Winterhaven, and Macclenney. The non grocery ones in FL are Brooksville, Ft. Pierce and Alachua. GW was doing grocery. I used to run into the drivers from Winterhaven and Arcadia when I worked at Walmart all the time. Now Swift is supposed to be getting to and those are Winterhaven and Arcadia. KH
