Swift buys Central Refrigerated for $225 million

Just cashing out. Swift is a Public company, Central a private company owned by the head of Swift... So now he sells his own company to his other company, pockets the cash and increases the value of the Swift stock which I am sure he owns a good chunk of, and just made a good score on that end too I'd bet.

 

from what i was told by swift office employees is that central belongs to the owner of swifts daughter

 

A continuing monopoly that for sure keep wages down and even lowering them in long term results.Good for jerry but bad for indursty as a whole.

 

I thought Central always had a relationship with Swift

something about Swift bailed out Dick Simon which did evolve into Central
