Swift "CDL" training program

I wish I knew about that company I just finished my sift schooling last week with my class a and it was a struggle to have money for food and I shared a room with a weird ### person and couldn't change

 

I knew ol' @Chinatown would come to the rescue.

 

I remember when I was young and my buddies and me running around in the woods of Tennessee and seeing those cottonmouth snakes swimming in the creeks. Those things would climb in the boat with you if you were night fishing using a light to attract fish.

 

Oh Yeah, they're sneaky and venomous.... like me.

 

Does your sister live in Alabama?
Celadon has school in Gadsden and she and her Swifty can run teams there also.

 

Why I went a different route by not signing up with any of these major companies.
Not having your own room and having to share with someone else is just crazy.
At least with trainers you know they've been with the company a good while.

I mean with Werner for example, for your own hotel room it was only 25 dollars extra a night. Reasonable. While Swift used a hotel that wanted 100 dollars a night extra.

I'll admit that I don't know much as I only have my permit and start school this weekend, but one thing I have learned so far with all my research is that nothing is really "free" as everyone on here has said. If someone else is footing the bill for your training, you can count on being their slave for a year or so. For your sister and her boyfriend, if they really want to drive together I would recommend they look into a company that does teams.

 

Most all of this. My husband didn't have to transfer permits from one state to the next. He tested at the local secretary of state before he left and they brought him back for his driving test. Him and his buddy went down together and when they told them at the end they were having trouble finding the money for the driving test, swift picked up the cost.

She also would pay $500 for the hotel room that they take out during your first 6 months.

Sadly, they would probably let the bf train her, even with a preventable. This is where she needs to speak up to her honey and tell him he is just too new to properly train her and it is both of their lives at stake. Of course, she may be assigned an equally inexperienced mentor.

 

Earl Henderson Trucking has a guaranteed minimum that works out to $798.00 per week. That's not slave wages. They also run teams or solo; drivers choice.
Celadon also runs teams or solo, drivers choice. Furnish hotel room and meals during CDL school.
