So I contacted swift for training for my A, turns out they don’t take people from NYC. Could any one explain why? She said we don’t have anywhere to park, I explained to her we do, I live on the suburbs. This lady was so rude. Help me out please
My guess is they’ve had problems in the past with people saying they have a place to park, and then if that falls thru they don’t, and stuff gets screwed up so they are just avoiding it all together from past experiences. That’s just a guess tho. @Six9GS and @Moosetek13 work there they can probably give you a more informed answer.
I have no idea. I haven't ever been anywhere in New England in a truck (I lived on Cape Cod for a couple of years, so been around most of the area, but in a 4 wheeler. Long before I ever had the thought of driving a rig). Sorry I can't be any help on this. I could make a few guesses, but they'd only be that, guesses. I'm a Western Region driver. My home is about 170 miles from the nearest Swift terminal in Phoenix. Never heard any push back about being able to take my truck home if I wanted. But, I keep my Jeep in the parking lot at the Phoenix terminal. So, when I go on hometime, I drop my truck off at the terminal and drive down to Yuma. Works for me and I don't have to worry about my truck's security that way.
Did you try all those companies on your other thread? I know you posted Millis and Swift won't hire from the city; so try the others. This thread ---> Schneider school questions.
