Swift didn't pay any of their employees this Friday. Looks to be giving everyone the runaround.

Something smells rotten. I wouldn't move my truck until it gets resolved.

 

If true then don’t move the truck until it clears your account.

 

If your swift fuel card gets declined then look out.

 

I'm still waiting on my check. Just used my fuel card a minute ago with no issues tho

 

They say around 5:00PM payment. I don't see any movement on my bank account. Bank informed that there is no failure attempt for deposit or a reversed payment. this means that they didn't even try to make a deposit.

 

While i would likely laugh if swift went belly up....and be terrified about the state of trucking unless there was some back room #### we dont know about. Things such as being shut down for criminal acrivity or they have been cooking books. I doubt this is anything to be worked up over.

Most likely this is some kind of clerical or tech error and everything will be paid by monday or tuesday. It wouldnt be the first time something screwed up in terms of pay and some suit said no to the overtime or extra resources to fix the issue or a bank had a computer crash preventing payments. Likely wont be the last either.

 

This is a problem for owner op. and company drivers. Did dedicated routes have the same problem. If so what happen to Bud loads, Amazon, Coca Cola, Walmart and other that have contract with swift, where is the money going to.

 

Strange that all banks have the same problems for deposit or all Swift drivers use the same bank.

 

Unless swift is doing some really weird quasi legal #### that would have the IRS up their #####. They are going to use a single bank for THEIR accounts. And google says they use triumph pay. If the banks payment processor is down, then same as you trying to log into YOUR bank when the system is down. They wont be able to transfer funds. And while im sure they have some emergency backup payment options for stuff like truck repairs or paying vendors via net 30 accounts and such. Those likely arent going to be able to cover payroll for a company with tens of thousands.

Like i said i wouldnt worry about it unless it persists more then a couple days. It sucks if you were counting on that cash. But dispite what people think. Even big businesses get ####ed by the bank, clerical and tech issues occasionally.
