My fiance has been working with this company for almost a year now and this company is crappy, he works a dedicated account for the north east. When Connie was the DM he and his buddies whom one of them is an Owner operator would get loads, back hauls, occasionally tcalls and hardly sitting . Now since this guy replaced connie and he sits for long periods not making any money even his buddies. This company will then send them to pick loads up and swift wouldn't give the correct time and would send him to pick a load up but when he gets there the place is closed. Then will send him back to NJ and have him sit there for days.
Another thing be careful who you piss off! Someone called on him and said he hit a trailer, when he didn't and my fiance took pictures and everything! They updated the ranking status every seven days and i have saved the pages were they updated the site and there wasn't any accidents on his ranking. Then today I check his ranking out ( i like to check to see if his ranking has went from bronze to another ranking) and they updated it yesterday and said that he has a preventable accident and i scrolled down and they revised the other date and said he has a preventable accident. Swift did not ask to see any pictures of the trailer and when he called his DM he told him to call AZ and AZ told him to call his Dm so pretty much they have been giving him the run around. This company is crap they don't care about peoples lives just how much money they make...![]()

Oh Swift is real good at sending you to pick up a ld 100 miles from where your at only to find out theres no load there at all...real nice dispatching there...You put in for time off a month in advance only to get the "can you take this real hot load and we'll get you home right away afterwards" crap....not good at all...the DM tells you not to take any lds going into Tx cause its real slow there, and that's all you get sent to you on qualcomm by planners..hmmmm ok

I wonder about women who feel the need to fight thier mans battles ... as well as men who can't speak for themselves.
bigmikectn and rodzilla Thank this. -
The lady is only trying to help out her fiance. My advice is to get ahold of Injun and see what she has to say. I am hoping she will this thread and offer input and maybe someone in PHX will see it too. If he does have pics, i'd advise him to send him to his DM's boss and explain the situation. Maybe this is the first time she/he has heard about it and may be able to make the necessary changes.
Boonie Thanks this. -
My husband has been working for swift also for a couple of months and he is having problems getting miles his DM always forgets about him and my husband has to call him every 30 mins to make sure his DM remembers. and I speak for my husband online because he doesn't like using computers... I feel for you.. Good Luck

I ran for Swift for three months out of school; they treated me good. Columbus, Ohio, Jill Henry was my DM. Only left because of family needs and really wanted to O/O at the time.
About 5 months later I went to Schneider because pay was a little better and they work with O/Os. Needs of my family took me off the road; still looking for local gig. DBL - Jackie Walker is the whip..
Anyone know of a company with local dedicated, P&D, Intermodal, or tanker in C'bus area? I prefer local intermodal or something that has me home most days of the week. -
If it is no longer working out, why has he not looked elsewhere?
I filled out an online "Teaser app" with Best Driver Jobs yesterday looking for a local job and today I received 44 emails and 11 phone calls from every regional and OTR company out there.
Okay, so they missed the part where I checked the box for "Local route" driver job, but at least they responded.
Incidentally, I had Buck from Wooster Motorways call me about a regional opportunity today off this "Teaser app." - It sounded pretty good, .38 a mile + other incentives, insurances, paid vacation time, home weekends. They run a little older equipment, but maintain their fleet from what I have seen in the past. Pass it on to the better drivers you know that are looking in central Ohio; might work out for them.
