I've worked for this crappy company for almost 6 years and have had enough! What kind of company lets there drivers go into the negative which is lasting 6 or more to get under control? I do about 3000-3400 miles a week.. it depends on what they give me or what they take away saying that load canceled! I'm on a Costco dedicated route out of WVC Utah and the terminal manger and the DM's are a joke. All they do is lie and tell u whatever they can to get u off the phone from.. they throw there hands in the side and say they can't help you. So I call rapid response ya right! What a bigger joke that is. The unscrupulous behavior of the dept manager Joran B and his minions is sad.. when a company expects a driver to keep driving and making those miles saying you'll get out it it'll take time, but at the same time your saying hey I don't have a paycheck how do I eat? Pay my bills? Live? And they just stay silent? I've gone they this situation many time with Swift over the years but this was the last time. The straw that broke the camels back. When a company continues to show they don't care about its drivers then I show the company that I don't care about it! My advice to you guys thinking about going to Swift DONT DONT IT!!! Save your money and sanity and keep looking !! Not worth the frustration!
Swift? Don't do it

How do you run 3,000 miles a week and not have a check or be in the negative? I'm assuming you drank the Kool aid and did a lease purchase?
misterG, CrappieJunkie, Toomanybikes and 6 others Thank this. -
I never worked for a mega in my time as a company driver and do not understand the above quote. I am assuming that some how you drove and ended up owing the company money. How does that happen? As I own my own company now I would love to figure out how to hire a driver that would pay me for the right to work his ### off for me. (Heavy sarcasm folks).
Seriously, explain how you get negative with Swift.TST65, Western flyer and Pnwtrucker Thank this. -

Over 3000 miles a week and negative checks? Ummmm, More to story I think there is.

"Swift? Don't do it"
Ok....I shant. Thank you.
Yah, 3,000 miles or more per week, and negative checks can only mean Lease/Purchase, or LOTS of needless and forgoten advances. -
That's exactly what I did. And I'm so regretful. By posting this today I was hoping to warn someone reading about swift. It was constant deduction they said they missed. Things like fuel they hadn't charged me for way back when, truck maintenance they missed on prior settlement and there going back thru. The thing is it was always something. I have to fight to get reimbursed for scales and tolls when I have them. And I still haven't gotten paid out for them.. and I've turned in every receipt the way they wanted. I just don't understand how they think people can work for free and live on next to nothing

They charge for things like fuel and say it was an accounting issue. I was a dumb ### staying with them so long hoping it would work... and no matter what it didntLonesome Thanks this.

Live and learn man. Way better companies to work for them swift. Just stay away from those l/p deals. You'll find a better company and get back on track.
TST65, Toomanybikes, Badmon and 2 others Thank this. -
Thanks man I appreciate that. I'll keep my head up and find something
