I worked at Swift for 4 years, my last year I went local or I could say loco because my driver manager screwed up almost every run. It was a local account and I have no clue how she got that position. For example she would send me places on a Sunday and they would be closed!
She would tell me to get so-and-so truck and the truck would be used for the day and not in a lot. I busted her on so many things, no wonder she didn't like me LOL their OT Department is great, if I were to work there again , which I doubt, I would run OTR. The driver leaders are much better as well as their planners. If you drive local for a swift, make sure you work with someone that knows what they're doing.

If you were working local and paid by the hour, who cares if she didn't know what she was doing.

Just drive around aimlessly or park under a tree and play dumb until your 10 hour shift is up.
