Swift Driver's Dog scheduled to be Put Down for No Reason

This is not as much about saving a dog as it is with the responsibility of the dog owner.

I won't try to save a dog that is of a breed that is known for violence and unpredictable behavior.
Any owner of such a dog has responsibilities to keep that dog contained and under control at all times.
This one failed.

Dogs do everything on instinct, with very little thought behind it.
The owner of the dog, however, can't be said the same for. Unless the owner is simply shortsighted and/or stupid.

This is a Pit Bull were talking about.
How many have suddenly turned and attacked with no warning? The percentage is very high compared to most other breeds.

We do have a natural ability to hunt.
As well as to kill, love, show compassion, feel pain, give pain, feel emotions, and so much more.

Plants do signal each other when threatened and this has been proved. Some thorny trees in Africa grow more thorns when their numbers get too low from animals eating the leaves and killing the trees. They signal each other through aromas being released into the air which then reach the other trees which signal them to also grow more thorns. Hundreds of similar examples from all over the world.

Sir, many people have lost the so called natural ability, they cannot stomach the concept.. Hunting means a trip to the grocery store, which restaurant or who will deliver.

Pit bulls have a rep and rules are rules .. Right ? Did the owner know the rules ?

I know pits can be good natured.. They also have lock jaws,.. neutrality

Vegantrucker, your lifestyle is admirable. I dont think i could refrain from most beers and wines, white sugar, enhanced breads, orange juice, barbeque chips, packaged peanuts, margarine, refried beans, cake mixes and hostess products and bagels...i can live without the red candles and soy cheese though...i'm sure the list could be longer.

 

Too many people gave this breed a bad name. Here in my area, if one has such a dog, the owner MUST have insurance (a very high dollar amount), the dog MUST be licensed and proof of all shots. But as I know it, not too many follow the laws, especially the ones on either welfare and/or involved in clandestine dog fighting. So the way I see it, don't follow the rules/laws here? Take the dog and put it down.

I don't know the laws in other states, especially regarding the pit bull breed, but if that state has any such law(s) so be it. We can all thank the idiots/morons/jerks, that has found these dogs and train them to be fighting/killing dogs, and the injuries or deaths they cause yearly. No dog was ever born to be a killer/fighter, so it is indeed a sad day when a cherished family pet get's caught up in something like this.

 

The bible also says we have dominion over animals. Any god that says one species is better then another is no god of mine. The bible also says to kill homosexuals, stone to death women who have sex before marriage, if a man wants my posessions, I am to allow him to take them and allow him to kill me if he wishes, children who talk back to their parents must be out to death, etc. I can quote these verses if you like. And by not following these rules, you are not following the word of god, punishable by eternity burning in hell. Sounds like a wonderful guy you believe in. Oh yeah, and he's egotistical. He requires people to sing praises to and worship him. Lol. Yeah, your god is a real dandy. I urinate on the bible. It's an evil book that has kept humanity from evolving and has caused nothing but hate and division.

 

That quote is usually the next thing flesh eaters say after I tell them we have no natural ability to hunt. We have natural ability to hunt eh? Ok. Chase down a squirrel with your speed, then kill it with your claws and teeth. Then eat it whole and raw. Then I'll agree with you that we have a natural ability to hunt. Guns are not natural. We invented them to give us an advantage to counter the fact we don't have a natural hunting ability.

 

A lot of packaged peanuts don't use gelatin. Most soy cheese doesn't contain casein. I hate barbecued chips, only drink water, and usually stick to black beans if eating burritos. Just have to watch the ingredients. I have an app for that!
