Last summer, Swift posted a survey on the kiosks and asked us what we think, much like you are doing here now. Many drivers tried to give honest answers, which unfortunately many times were a bit negative. Everytime they tried to do that and tried to submit it, the program would not accept it. When they went back in and changed their responses to positive answers, it was submitted with no problems. If Swift truly wants to know what we think, they are first going to have to accept the fact that not everyone is happy and that there are problems. For the record, most of my responses on that survey were generally positive.
It seems the big issue on the mind of Swift right now is safety, especially backing. We have all been getting the messages about ridiculous solutions to backing incidences. Instead of making us do stupid procedures that will actually not make us safer drivers, establish a training program to help us become better drivers.
Better information for the loads would be good also, not just for us drivers but the csr's as well. I'm sitting here in Columbus now because the load I had was dispatched to deliver this morning, but the company is closed on the weekends and there was no one there to sign my bills, so it got t-called. -
1. They're usually filthy. Hand sanitizer, when it hasn't been stolen, isn't good enough. Put out some disinfectant cleaner and paper towels for us to steal, too.
2. Who signed off on the comic book motif? Fire that idiot.
3. Ask around and see if you can find out who it is in corporate communications who decided that some information on the Qualcomm, some information on the intranet and some information exclusive to the kiosks is a good idea. Beat, flog, execute and fire that moron.
What is the new speed policy? The QC msg said it was available through the online portal and it isn't. My fuel route was just changed from a terminal to a 60 mile out of route TA. That's tomorrow. Beyond that, I will have forgotten I need to sign off on the speed policy which I might have done because I had business at a terminal.
4. When the kiosk vendor said "Oh and they'll rarely work . . " which employee was on the receiving end of the accompanying and substantial bribe? Let that person know we're on to him/her and I'll settle for half. Ditto for the scanner vendor.
5. Why, after so many months into this, is Swift still not signed up with MyTransflo? I wouldn't be so many (dollars) months behind if I could scan from my truck.
6. Why do we still get fuel routed to TAs while TAs don't have Transflo?
7. Swift needs to select one driver with at least 6 years of experience who will never so much as inquire about an inside job (preferably me) and run every major policy change by me before it's implemented. I could help keep a lot of people from looking so stupid.
8. What are the major challenges confronting the CSRs? Speak freely; I can help.scottied67, hunnerbunner, Rotten and 4 others Thank this.
