You will run paper until you are in youre own truck unless that has changed in the last month or so that is what a swift mentor told me

If you get stopped and are asked for your last 7 days there is a fax function to send the logs to the DOT officer. Or he can get up in your truck and look at the Q/C himself.

On your mentor truck you "Will" Be required to run both paper logs and E-logs. Do Not sign your Paper logs or you will be in Violation and running multiple sets of logs. You need to know how to do both so you will be doing both on the mentor truck. They will most likely not match up at the end of the day but don't worry about it. On paper we round to the nearest 15 E logs are by the minute so they wont match. Roll on what ever the E log says you have at the end of the day that is the one that matters right now.
