When I have, lets say a bad tire. I call in and say "look i have two tires that will put the truck out of service if I get DOT'd. I've found that this seems to work better than just saying I have a tire that needs changing. Now with the whole CSA thing I simply tell them sorry but I cant run the truck like this because if I get stopped its not just the company paying. I may not pay in cash but it'll cost me when I have points on my CSA score for something like a tire. Don't let these companies BS you. Stand your ground. Remeber, that millionaire that owns the company put his pants on one leg at a time just like you.

He does know everything. His cousin's wife's best friend's uncle's buddy was a trucker in the 70's. So he knows everything.

I go there as well. If I am correct, the road atlas shows 92 to be a restricted road. Why on earth would you take it?

FYI- if going south, take 6 east to 29 south to 309 south. It's a little faster than taking 6 all the way out to I81.

You obviously have never been to the big city. That trip can go anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours depending on time of day and accidents.

You're detoured off of 29 south. That bridge is out; just before 309. If you're going south, the detour is: 29 south to 292 to this back road to 309.
