Got my second check today. Took home just over $400 after taxes so probably ~500-550 before. Looks like the recruiter's honestly checks out again haha
Got a little over 50 hours left in training.

Thanks for the update! Not bad.

That's about average I think for drivers in the training period. You'll earn more going solo surely.
-
If I don't I'll be looking for another job that's for sure lolGWS Thanks this.

It won't be right away so just stay with it give it a month then you should start getting bigger checks the first few weeks your DM will be trying to see how you work and see if your worth a #### so once you go solo be on time and put in work and show them you can hangLast edited: Aug 25, 2015
CasanovaCruiser Thanks this. -
Hey Casanova do you happen to know what the current benefit costs are and when do they become available to the employee?
-
I don't know the prices but they start the first enrollment period after 30 days of employment. Enrollment periods are quarterly.
Fine with me. Hoping to have a good relationship with my DM. Plus side is I've got no bills. Insurance is paid for the year, lease ended on my apartment, and my cell phone bill is $40. I can afford to stick it out for a month or two before I start feeding the bank.GWS Thanks this. -
After 90 days at swift I think
-
Only thing that sucks is no APU and being mostly in AZ it's gonna suck. I'm heading to AZ once my 10 is up at 1am and my APU took a #### in Utah on Saturday

Isn't swifts policy that idling is okay if it's over 70 degrees out?
Unless you're an o/o. Then it's all about your pocket ha
